Watching Me
Peregrines, like most birds, have eyes on the sides of their heads, unlike humans who have both eyes in the front of their heads. Each bird eye has monocular vision providing about a 300 degree range of visibility. They do also have partial binocular vision, but their best sight is to the side. Therefore, when a bird is perched perpendicularly to you and facing forward, it is most likely keeping an eye on you, literally. May 31, 2017
