Drake Redhead duck: Following up on a couple of leads I finally drove up to Cayuga lake to find two rafts (large groupings) of Redhead ducks along the lake. Hundreds of ducks continuously swam by as I knelt along the shore (trying to get as low as possible). Unfortunately the sun never did appear so I couldn’t catch this duck’s iridescence which would show off some purple in his head. Hopefully there will be a next time.
